Authorities seal 20 BISP retailers’ centers over illegal deductions
Over 20 BISP retailer centers sealed in Mardan for illegal deductions; authorities recover money and arrest several fraudsters.
BISP Mardan – (Web Desk) – More than 20 Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) retailer centers in Mardan were sealed for illegally deducting money from women. During a large-scale operation against fraudulent practices, authorities seized devices, arrested several retailers, and recovered Rs136,000 in illegal deductions.
Operation jointly conducted by district administration and DG BISP Romana Gul Kakar on the instructions of BISP Chairperson Robina Khalid.
According to DG BISE Romana Gul Kakar, she has been specially sent from Islamabad for action.
When investigated, franchise retailers and handlers found involved in illegal deductions in Benazir Income Support Programme.
She announced that zero tolerance policy against corruption being followed.
These are retailers of Bank of Punjab and the bank will also be fined.

Deserving women should not give money to anyone, file a complaint immediately, DG BISP appealed to women.
