Australia Announces Playing XI for Third Ashes Test, Cummins Returns
Michael Neser and Brendan Doggett did not make the playing XI.
SYDNEY: Australia has announced its playing XI for the third Ashes Test, making two changes to the team. Captain Pat Cummins returns to the lineup after missing the first two matches of the series due to a back injury. Nathan Lyon also makes a comeback to the squad.
Michael Neser and Brendan Doggett did not make the playing XI. Although Usman Khawaja has fully recovered from his back injury sustained during the Perth Test, he has once again been overlooked for selection.

The third Test of the Ashes series will begin on Wednesday in Adelaide. Australia currently leads the five-match series 2-0.
