Attaullah Tarar Stresses National Unity & Condemns Terrorism
Federal Minister Emphasizes Government’s Commitment to Economic Stability.
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has reiterated the government’s commitment to steering the country away from default, emphasizing its mission to improve the lives of its citizens.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Attaullah Tarar emphasized the need for national unity in tackling various issues and condemned the recent incident of terrorism in North Waziristan. He highlighted the sacrifices made by the armed forces, police, and civilians in the fight against terrorism and stressed that any disrespect or mockery of the martyrs is unacceptable.
Addressing concerns over political criticism, Attaullah Tarar urged against crossing the line, particularly when it comes to criticizing the sacrifices of the martyrs. He also warned against the involvement of anti-Pakistan lobbies across the border and called for national unity and solidarity.
Furthermore, Attaullah Tarar informed about ongoing efforts to reform taxation and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). He emphasized that economic stability is crucial for political stability and revealed that the Prime Minister is regularly holding meetings on economic matters to address the country’s economic challenges. Additionally, he assured that accountability measures will be taken against institutions incurring losses.

Malika Bukhari allowed to go abroad
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s timely intervention has granted permission to Malikah Bukhari to travel abroad. It is clear that Malikah Bukhari had stated that her elder sister is on a ventilator in Australia due to a severe illness.
According to media reports, Malikah Bukhari had appealed for permission to travel abroad due to her sister’s illness. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had instructed relevant authorities to address the matter through social media. Shortly after, Malikah Bukhari expressed her gratitude to Maryam Nawaz.
Malikah Bukhari informed that she has received confirmation of permission, and her name has been removed from the no-fly list.
