Atta Tarar says Pakistan shining globally, criticizes India policies

Pakistan holds a strong position at both diplomatic and military levels, Minister said.

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Attaullah Tarar has stated that Pakistan is currently gaining global recognition while India is facing decline and diplomatic setbacks.

Addressing a function in Islamabad, the Information Minister said Pakistan holds a strong position at both diplomatic and military levels, and that people around the world feel proud of their association with the country. He contrasted this with what he described as isolation and failure on the other side of the eastern border.

He added that Pakistan has consistently raised its voice against terrorism, while claiming that condemnation from the eastern side has been absent. Referring to past incidents, he mentioned the arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav, alleging involvement in terrorism activities inside Pakistan.

Tarar further said that Pakistan has successfully won what he called a “battle for truth” at the diplomatic level and has emerged as a responsible advocate of peace globally. He also referred to incidents such as the APS attack and the Jaffar Express incident, saying Pakistan has made significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

He also made critical remarks regarding India, referencing past tensions involving captured individuals such as Abhinandan, while stating that Pakistan continues to confront terrorism with resilience and national unity.
