According to the source, the court heard the bail pleas of the PTI leaders. PTI leaders Yasmin Rashid, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Zubair Khan Niazi appeared before court. The court asked police if the suspects had joined investigation process. The police replied in negative.
As per details the lawyer for the suspects told court that a JIT had been formed to probe these allegations. The court said the JIT was yet to be constituted, so they should join the investigation. The court then asked Yasmin Rashid, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Zubair Khan Niazi and others to join the investigation process.
However, the ATC, due to non-appearance in court, turned down interim bail requests of Asad Umar and Farrukh Habib. The court extended interim bail of Yasmin Rashid, Mian Aslam and Zubair Niazi till April 7.
