ATC Issues Non-Bailable Arrest Warrants for KP CM Sohail Afridi

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Monday upheld non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in connection with the October 4, 2025 protest case, during which a police officer was martyred.
The case was heard by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra, who also maintained the court’s earlier decision declaring former opposition leader Omar Ayub, Aamir Mughal, Hafeez-ur-Rehman and several others as proclaimed offenders.
During the proceedings, PTI leader Azam Swati appeared before the court, allowing the trial against him to proceed. The court also recorded statements of prosecution witnesses as the hearing moved forward.

The case was registered at Noon Police Station in Islamabad following the October 4 protest incident that resulted in the death of a police officer.
