Lahore: Ask Punjab bureaucracy to work 100% or face consequences: Maryam tells CS. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed to strictly monitor the distribution of Ramadan Nigehban Package hampers to deserving people at their doorsteps.
She was talking during the visit of a model Provincial Ramadan Bazaar Control Room in Lahore Sunday. She said that a District Scoreboard will also be set up about the implementation of the Ramadan Package.
She was apprised that all deserving people in province will get the hampers at their door steps by 10th of Holy Ramadan.
Punjab CM was furious after receiving complaints in the delivery of the Ramadan care package and reprimanded the chief secretary and secretary industries. Maryam Nawaz expressed her anger on receiving complaints.
She asked how could the officers blew government orders on Nigebhan Package. She also ordered to take action against those responsible for delaying Maryam Nawaz’s delivery

The cheif executive ordered for home delivery so that people could not have to stand in long queues.
“Whoever does not give 100 percent of the work will have to answer,” she told Punjab top bureacrate.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif is a Pakistani politician, currently serving as the Chief Minister of Punjab, in office since 26 February 2024. She is the daughter of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and her initial involvement in public life was through her family’s philanthropic organisations. However, her political career began in earnest in 2012 when she took charge of the election campaign for the 2013 general elections. Following the elections, she was appointed as the Chairperson of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme in 2013.
