Australia’s Unique Record

During this Test, Australia achieved a remarkable batting milestone.

For the first time in Ashes history, all 11 Australian batters reached double figures in a single innings.

Australia had previously accomplished this feat twice:

  • In 1948 against India
  • In 1992 against Sri Lanka

However, this was the first time in the Ashes, which has been contested since 1882, that all 11 Australian batters reached double digits, marking a historic moment in the series.
