Arshad Nadeem Wins Gold, Yasir Sultan Claims Silver at Islamic Solidarity Games
Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem clinched the Gold medal in javelin throw at the Islamic Solidarity Games with an outstanding throw of 83.05 meters, while his compatriot Yasir Sultan secured the Silver medal with a throw of 76.04 meters.
Arshad dominated from the first round, opening with a throw of 75.44 meters, while Yasir started with 70.32 meters. In the second round, Arshad extended his lead with the winning 83.05 meters, while Yasir improved to 74.43 meters. Throughout the competition, Arshad consistently delivered strong throws, including 82.48 meters in the third round and 77.06 meters in the fourth, securing his top position. Yasir Sultan maintained second place with steady performances, including a 73.78-meter throw in the fourth round.
Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, congratulated Arshad Nadeem on his Gold medal victory in Saudi Arabia and extended his best wishes to his coach and family. Naqvi praised Arshad for making Pakistan proud, highlighting his achievement as a triumph for sports and peace-loving Pakistanis.
