Army Fully Prepared to Counter Divisive Threats: CDF Asim Munir

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.

ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to effectively respond to both internal and external challenges.

According to official sources, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he was given a detailed briefing on the formations’ operational preparedness and key measures taken to further enhance their combat capabilities.

During the visit, the Field Marshal observed a field training exercise and modern simulator-based training facilities, and appreciated the formations for their high professional standards and overall state of readiness.

Emphasizing the importance of technological integration, Field Marshal Asim Munir said that modern warfare demands agility, precision, enhanced situational awareness, and timely decision-making.

Addressing officers and soldiers, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces praised their high morale and unwavering commitment to national security.

He highlighted the significance of rigorous, mission-oriented training, stating that the Pakistan Army remains fully prepared to counter internal and external threats, hostile hybrid campaigns, extremist ideologies, and divisive elements aimed at undermining national stability.

Upon his arrival in Gujranwala, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
