Army Chief Visits Air Headquarters, Commends PAF for Repelling Indian Aggression
Military Chiefs Reaffirm Resolve to Defend Pakistan’s Sovereignty
ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited Air Headquarters in Islamabad today, where he was warmly received by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
During the visit, General Munir paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its swift and decisive response in thwarting the recent aggression by the Indian Air Force. He praised the professionalism and bravery of PAF personnel in successfully intercepting and downing multiple enemy aircraft, reaffirming the Air Force’s critical role in safeguarding the nation’s airspace.
The Army Chief lauded the operational synergy and excellent coordination among Pakistan’s armed forces, emphasizing the strength of inter-services cooperation in the face of external threats.
In the meeting, both military leaders reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to defend its territorial integrity. General Munir reiterated that no one would be allowed to violate Pakistan’s sovereignty, and any such attempt would be met with a firm and costly response.
