Pakistan armed forces reaffirm unity, security on Pakistan Day anniversary

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s top military leadership, including Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, extended warm greetings to the nation on the 86th anniversary of Pakistan Day.

In a joint message, they described March 23, 1940, as a historic milestone that defined the vision for an independent homeland, reflecting the unity, determination, and aspirations of the Mulsim people.

They emphasized that Pakistan continues to move forward under democratic principles, guided by faith and strengthened by resilience, while striving to ensure stability, security, and the welfare of its citizens.

The leadership highlighted ongoing challenges, particularly terrorism and extremism, reaffirming that the armed forces, in coordination with law enforcement agencies and the public, remain committed to eliminating all threats to national security.

Reiterating their pledge, the chiefs stated that Pakistan’s armed forces will continue to defend the country’s sovereignty, protect its borders, and maintain internal peace with unwavering vigilance.

They also noted that Pakistan remains an active and responsible member of the international community, promoting peace, cooperation, and regional stability while advancing towards a secure and prosperous future.
