Aqeel Malik recently opened up about his connections with Wajeeha Khan during an appearance on a YouTube show, following his rise to fame as the winner of ARY Digital’s popular reality show Tamasha 3. Known for his roles in the film Sherdil and the drama series Muhabbat Satrangi, Aqeel has established himself as a prominent Pakistani celebrity, also working as a model, businessman, and entrepreneur.
In a series of interviews with various digital media platforms, Aqeel discussed his experiences on Tamasha. In his chat on Something Haute’s YouTube show, he addressed his relationship with Wajeeha Khan, one of the finalists from Tamasha 3.
Regarding Wajeeha, Aqeel remarked, “I first noticed my reels with Saima and Anam, so how do you think fans perceive that? My fans have created reels of me with all the girls. Wajeeha Khan is a lovely person, and I appreciated her dressing and style. I treated all the girls on set like family. I genuinely respect them all. I was drawn to Wajeeha from the beginning, but I was unaware of how our friendship was being interpreted by viewers. Wajeeha also voiced her concerns about this, which I respected. I distanced myself from her because she was engaged, and I believed I shouldn’t pursue someone who is already committed.”
On the topic of his own relationship status, Aqeel shared that he is currently single and open to marriage. He mentioned his preference for an arranged marriage but expressed his intention to evolve it into a love marriage. He emphasized the importance of having an understanding partner and stated that he feels ready to marry at this stage in his life, capable of balancing both personal and professional commitments.
