Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar kakar directs best facilities for Hajj pilgrims
PM orders to pace up privatisation of loss-making SOEs,
ISLAMABAD – Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Monday directed to provide the best facilities for Hajj pilgrims.
Kakar chaired a meeting regarding the arrangements for Hajj pilgrims and said that every step must be taken to facilitate the pilgrims on the holy land.
The prime minister was apprised of the performance of the Religious Affairs ministry and preparation for the Hajj policy 2024.
The meeting was attended by Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed and other officials of the ministry.
Addressing the participants, the prime minister directed for keeping a strict vigilance on private Hajj companies so that pilgrims proceeding through private scheme should not face any difficulty.
He also asked for submission of Hajj policy for the approval of federal cabinet.

Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar on Monday directed to pace up the process of privatisation of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) facing financial losses.
The prime minister gave the directions in a meeting with the Caretaker Minister for Privatization Fawad Hassan Fawad. PM Kakar emphasized that the privatization of such SOEs was vital to save the national exchequer from further financial loss.
The prime minister in this regard lauded the role played by the Privatization Facilitation Council.
