Islamabad: (Web Desk) – Another patient affected by monkeypox and HIV has died in Pakistan.
According to authorities, the 53-year-old patient from Faisalabad was admitted to PIMS Hospital, Islamabad, and passed away on Saturday during treatment. The officials said the patient was also suffering from Hepatitis B and C.

Authorities confirmed that this is the second death from monkeypox in Pakistan, with the first reported in Islamabad in December 2023.
The officials added that the patient had no travel history and likely contracted the disease locally. They warned that there is clear evidence of monkeypox spreading within Pakistan, as 53 cases were reported in the country last year.
