ANF Conducts Operations, Recovers 126 Kg of Illegal Drugs

Seven operations conducted across multiple cities; seven drug traffickers arrested

ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter): Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting seven operations across the country managed to recover over 126 kg drugs worth more than Rs 10.9 million and arrested seven drug traffickers.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesperson, in an operation at a courier office in Chaklala Garrison, Rwp, 15 Ecstasy tablets weighing 60 grams were recovered from a parcel sent from Belgium to Mirpur.
In another operation near Yaru, Pishin District, 6 kgs hashish & 2 kgs ice were recovered from the possession of 2 suspects.
In Jamshoro, 12 kgs hashish was recovered from a passenger traveling in a public transport.
Similarly in an operation near University Road, Peshawar, 60 kgs hashish was recovered from a vehicle.
In a crackdown near Kamoki Toll Plaza, Gujranwala, 9.5 kgs opium & 26.4 kgs hashish were recovered from a motorcyclist.
Near Jamshoro Toll Plaza, 9.6 kgs hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused while in an operation near Tarkai Toll Plaza, Jhelum, 1 kg hashish was seized from the possession of a suspect rounded up during the raid.

The spokesperson informed that separate cases have been registered against the accused under the CNS Act.
