Islamabad – Renowned Pakistani actress Amena Sheikh recently shared valuable advice for women regarding choosing their future husbands.
In a recent interview, Amena Sheikh was asked about the key factors a woman should consider before getting married. She emphasized that financial independence is crucial. “A woman should know how she can remain financially strong after marriage, and for this, it is important that she is financially independent herself,” she said.
The actress also highlighted the importance of observing a potential husband’s behavior towards his parents and close relatives. She explained, “A man treats his wife in the same way he treats his parents or loved ones, so it’s essential to pay attention to this aspect.”
Amena further advised that education is an important factor when choosing a life partner. She also suggested that a woman should consider her own lifestyle and mindset when selecting a spouse.

For context, Amena Sheikh and actor Mohib Mirza divorced in October 2019 after 14 years of marriage. The couple, who married in 2005, have a daughter named Misa. Amena later married Umar Farooqi in 2020 and moved to Dubai, and the couple has a son together.
