Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi welcomed former Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Baklanov Andrey Glebovich, along with a group of international relations students from the Higher School of Economics at Pakistan House in Moscow. The student delegation included participants from Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
During the discussion, Ambassador Tirmizi introduced the students to the historical legacy of the Indus Valley Civilization and the broader history of Pakistan. He also outlined the growing Pakistan-Russia partnership, noting cooperation across multiple sectors and emphasizing ongoing connectivity initiatives linking Pakistan with Russia through Central Asian states.
The ambassador addressed a wide range of questions from the students on global politics and foreign policy, focusing on current international developments and the evolving world order. He was also invited to deliver a lecture at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
