Ambassador Khalil Hashmi Opens International Culture Day at PECB Beijing

The celebration reflected the spirit of unity and friendship that defines PECB’s diverse educational environment.

BEIJING: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, inaugurated the International Culture Day 2025 at the Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB), celebrating global diversity and cultural exchange.

The event featured vibrant displays of traditional music, art, and cuisine representing Pakistan, China, and more than 50 other countries. Students, teachers, and community members showcased the beauty of different cultures through performances, exhibitions, and food stalls.

Principal Mrs. Shazia Amjad warmly welcomed guests and praised the dedication of the students and staff in organizing the multicultural event, which has become a hallmark of PECB’s academic calendar.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Hashmi highlighted PECB’s historic role as Beijing’s first international school and its ongoing efforts to promote cross-cultural understanding and educational excellence.
