Alizeh Shah Opens Up on Emotional Reason Behind Deleting Instagram Posts

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has once again wiped her Instagram account clean, deleting all her photos and posts. However, this time, she has shared the emotional reason behind her decision, saying she feels both “happy and ashamed” about her past actions.

In a viral video, Alizeh opened up about her struggles, explaining that her decision came from a place of grief and self-reflection. “I didn’t understand myself then. Everything I posted was coming from a place of pain,” she said, adding that she now feels relieved after letting go of her old content.

The actress, known for her roles in hit Pakistani dramas, also discussed her ongoing mental health challenges. In a previous video, she revealed that she has been battling post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) caused by difficult experiences in the entertainment industry. “The things I faced made me question why I ever entered this industry,” she admitted.

Once a popular figure on Pakistani television screens, Alizeh has been away from acting for some time, focusing instead on her personal healing. She has often been the target of online criticism over her fashion choices but has stood by her independence, saying her mother never restricted her clothing.

This isn’t the first time Alizeh has deleted her Instagram posts — she has done so twice before, in September last year and April this year. However, she hinted that her latest move is more personal and part of her emotional recovery.

In her latest video, she said she doesn’t know when she will return to social media but made it clear that “the old Alizeh and the old photos will not come back.”
