AJK Minister Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah Hailed for Joining Global Flotilla to Gaza

MUZAFFARABAD/ITALY: Social media users across Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir are paying rich tribute to AJK Minister for Information, Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, for his courageous decision to join the “Global Sumood Flotilla” sailing towards Gaza. Citizens described his move as a powerful message of peace, justice, and solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. Many hailed him as a “Pride of the Nation” and “Ambassador of Unity,” noting that his step reflects not only the spirit of Kashmir but also the resolve of the entire Muslim Ummah.

Political and social circles also praised the Minister’s decision, calling it a remarkable example of courage and determination that will strengthen Pakistan’s positive global image. The “Global Sumood Flotilla” comprises activists, political leaders, and volunteers from around the world, united to raise their voice for Palestinians. Shah’s participation is being termed a historic contribution by Kashmiri leadership towards global solidarity.

Meanwhile, during the journey, the Minister’s boat suffered technical failure at sea. After several hours of distress, he and his companions were rescued and brought safely to the Italian island of Siracusa. In a video message from the island, Shah reaffirmed his commitment to break the siege of Gaza and deliver food and medicines to the suffering people. “Our hearts beat with Gaza. With Allah’s help, we will soon be with our Palestinian brothers and sisters. We request prayers from all well-wishers,” he said.

Despite hardships, he vowed to continue the mission with firm resolve, stressing that this act of solidarity is a clear message of peace, fraternity, and unity for the world.
