Muzaffarabad -(Staff Reporter)-AJK Medical College hosted a highly successful one-day workshop in collaboration with the NHS Emergency Medicine team, attracting over 350 medical students and doctors. The event, driven by Principal Dr. Adnan’s visionary leadership, aimed to enhance medical education and practical training.
The workshop began with an introduction by Dr. Rida Rana, followed by Dr. Ashfaq Sorathia’s engaging scenario-based clinical teaching session on emergency resuscitation, featuring participation from various specialists. Dr. Syed Ali demonstrated the use of portable ultrasound devices for diagnosing diseases, captivating the audience with relevant ultrasound videos.
A significant highlight was Dr. Ashfaq’s announcement of 100 scholarships for final-year medical students and opportunities for postgraduate diplomas, inspiring attendees.
The success of the event was attributed to the hard work of the organizing committee, including Dr. Sohail Raja, Dr. Hina Munir, Miss Rabia, Dr. Daneeya, and Dr. Wajiha, along with the media team’s efforts to ensure a smooth experience. The workshop concluded with certificate distributions and a luncheon for participants.
