A guard mounting and wreath-laying ceremony was held at Mazar-e-Iqbal, where the PAF contingent formally took over responsibilities from the Satluj Rangers.

Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Shahid Afzaal, Air Officer Commanding PAF Airmen Academy Korangi Creek, attended as the chief guest. He laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha at the grave on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff and the entire PAF community.

The ceremony reflected deep respect for the national poet, whose philosophy continues to shape Pakistan’s ideological foundation and inspire its path toward progress.
