Pakistan-AI Deepfake Targets Hania Aamir, Actress Denies Involvement.Pakistani actress and model Hania Aamir has addressed the viral video circulating on social media, claiming that it is a deepfake generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
In a statement on her Instagram stories, Aamir clarified that the video does not depict her.She expressed her concerns, writing, “This AI technology is really frightening.”
Aamir also emphasized the need for legislation to regulate the use of AI in creating such content.On her Instagram, Hania Aamir addressed the issue directly:
“These videos are not of me, regardless of what anyone might believe,” she stated.She clarified, “The provocative video circulating online is a fake, created using AI.”
Aamir added, “Someone needs to inform these entertainment websites that this video does not feature me.”The video, which surfaced earlier this week, depicts a woman who resembles Hania Aamir in provocative attire and striking bold poses.
Initially circulated by various social media accounts, the footage was incorrectly identified as being of Hania Aamir by an entertainment website.
