Aga Khan Maternal and Child Care Centre Organizes Successful Health Camp in Matiari

Matiari (KAMRAN KHAMISO KHOWAJA)- The Aga Khan Maternal and Child Care Centre (AKMCCC), Hyderabad, in collaboration with Matiari Health Services Hospital, organized a successful one-day Health Camp on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Matiari Health Services Hospital. The camp provided essential healthcare services to the local community, with over 450 patients benefiting from the event.

The health camp focused on preventive care and early diagnosis of a wide range of health conditions, offering consultations across multiple specialties, including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Skin Diseases, Eye Diseases, Bone and Joint Disorders, Child Health, Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Thyroid, and Heart Diseases.

In addition to consultations, the camp provided affordable diagnostic services, offering a 50% discount on sugar tests, ultrasounds, and X-rays. ECG services were also made available at a subsidized cost, making essential medical services more accessible to the community.

Dr. Syed Mairajuddin Shah, Chief Operating Officer of Off-Campus Hospitals at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan, expressed gratitude for the partnership with Matiari Health Services Hospital, stating, “We are immensely grateful for their collaboration and support.
