Islamabad-(Mudassar Iqbal/Web Desk)-Pakistan has strongly rejected claims made by a spokesperson of the Afghan Taliban, calling allegations of a ceasefire violation “ridiculous.” According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Pakistan has not broken any truce and described the accusations as baseless and misleading.
In an official statement, the ministry suggested such claims may be an attempt to justify militant activities or could stem from internal disagreements within the Taliban administration. It also warned that once the temporary pause in operations ends, Pakistan will respond firmly to any terrorist threats or cross-border attacks.
Officials clarified that the suspension of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq was a temporary step taken during Eid al-Fitr and at the request of friendly Muslim countries.
