KARACHI: Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir recently shared a chilling revelation about how she narrowly avoided being on the ill-fated PIA flight that tragically crashed in Karachi’s Model Colony in 2020. In a podcast, Nazish disclosed that she was originally scheduled to travel on the same flight from Lahore to Karachi, which tragically crashed while attempting to land.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Nazish missed her flight. She mentioned that she is prone to missing flights, and in fact, had missed six flights in just one day on one occasion. Reflecting on the 2020 incident, she revealed that the PIA flight, which crashed shortly after the COVID-19 lockdown, was also one of the flights she failed to board.
When she learned of the crash, Nazish was filled with immense relief and gratitude. “I immediately thanked God for not being on that flight,” she said. She explained that she was supposed to travel to Karachi after a 60-day quarantine, but fate had other plans.
