ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi is all set to ring in the New Year with spectacular celebrations aimed at breaking six world records. According to Arab media, the city’s festivities will feature a breathtaking 53-minute fireworks display, with fireworks set to light up the sky every hour, continuing until midnight.
The celebrations will begin at 6:00 PM local time, with a stunning aerial performance featuring 6,000 drones. Among the highlights, 3,000 drones will come together to spell out “Happy New Year” in the sky. In addition, over 100,000 balloons will be released into the air, adding to the grandeur of the event.
