The directive stated that teaching or running private academies during official working hours violates government regulations. It also expressed concern that such teachers often give preferential treatment to their academy students, disadvantaging those enrolled in government schools.

Principals have been instructed to strictly monitor teacher attendance both inside and outside school premises and to submit complete staff records. The circular warned that non-compliance could lead to action against principals and district education officers as well.

The department confirmed that disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against teachers found associated with private academies during duty hours.
