MUMBAI: (Web Desk) – Abhishek Sharma etched his name in the record books by scoring a half-century off just 14 balls, becoming the second-fastest Indian batter to reach the milestone in T20 Internationals.

Powered by Sharma’s explosive innings, India defeated New Zealand in the third T20 International to take an unassailable 3–0 lead in the series.

The left-handed batter completed his fifty in 14 deliveries and remained unbeaten on 68 runs off only 20 balls, showcasing an exceptional display of power-hitting. His knock now stands as the second-fastest T20I fifty by an Indian player.
