Abhishek Sharma Records Third Consecutive Duck In T20

Indian Opener Abhishek Sharma Fails To Score Again In World Cup

Ahmedabad: (Web Desk) – India’s aggressive opener Abhishek Sharma registered his third consecutive duck in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, failing to score in India’s final group-stage match against the Netherlands in Ahmedabad, according to 24NewsHD TV.

Sharma was dismissed for zero in the very first over by Netherlands pacer Dutt, completing a hat-trick of ducks in the tournament. Earlier in the competition, he had also been dismissed without scoring against the United States and arch-rivals Pakistan.

With this streak, the 23-year-old equalled a record previously held by former India pacer Ashish Nehra, who also registered three consecutive ducks in a past T20 World Cup.
