Abdul Jawed Crowned Islamabad Snooker Cup Champion

MNA Praises Pakistani Snooker Talent, Urges Youth Participation

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Abdul Jawed Junior clinched the title of the Islamabad Snooker Cup after defeating Shan Naimat 4–2 in the final, while Musaddiq Malik won the Masters category of the championship. The tournament was organized by the Islamabad Billiards and Snooker Association and concluded at the Shander 41 Snooker Academy.

The final ceremony was attended by Pakistan Muslim League-N MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed as the chief guest, who distributed trophies and prizes among the winners. Senior Vice President of the Islamabad Billiards and Snooker Association Saleem Akhtar Rana, Secretary Faheem Anwar Khan, President of the Rawalpindi Billiards and Snooker Association Dr. Aamir Khan, and other officials were also present.

In the senior category final, Abdul Jawed Junior displayed outstanding performance and recorded the highest break of the tournament with 99 points. He won the final with frame scores of 75–21, 61–48, 114–19, 81–34, 69–47, and 84–29.

In the Masters category final, Musaddiq Malik defeated Sitar Khan by 4–1 frames to secure the title.

Addressing the closing ceremony, MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed said Pakistani snooker players are making the nation proud at the international level by showcasing their talent. He encouraged youth to actively participate in sports, adding that the government will continue to provide maximum support and facilities to talented young athletes.
