Aamir Khan firmly denies brother Faissal’s latest accusations
Bollywood star reacts to hurtful, misleading public claims
India- (Special Correspondent/Web desk) Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has finally addressed the explosive allegations made by his brother, Faissal Khan, who claimed the superstar mistreated him and kept him confined at home for over a year. In a rare show of unity, the Khan family released a joint statement calling the accusations “hurtful and misleading,” insisting that every decision about Faissal was taken together, in consultation with medical experts, and always guided by love, care, and concern for his wellbeing.
We are distressed by Faissal’s misleading portrayal of his mother Zeenat Tahir Husain, his sister Nikhat Hegde, and his brother Aamir, the statement read. As this is not the first time he has misrepresented these events, we feel it is necessary to clarify our intentions and reaffirm our solidarity as a family.
The Khan family also urged the media to handle the matter sensitively. They requested journalists to show “empathy” and avoid turning the personal dispute into “salacious and inflammatory gossip.”

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Faissal alleged that his family had labelled him schizophrenic and called him “a mad person” who could be a danger to society. He claimed Aamir kept him under “house arrest” in Mumbai for over a year, trapping him in what he described as a “chakravyuh” — a vicious cycle where the whole family stood against him.
Faissal said he prayed for his father’s help, who was living separately at the time, but had no way to contact him. He recalled that after a year of confinement, Aamir eventually allowed him to move into another home.
