Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra announced his preferred playing XI for India ahead of the first red-ball match against Bangladesh, set to take place on Thursday.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Chopra shared his selections: “Here’s my India XI for tomorrow: Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Siraj.”
The Bangladesh cricket team is prepared to face India in the red-ball format on Indian soil.
