Paris: In a powerful display of solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people, the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris hosted a Special Seminar commemorating Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event, aimed at bolstering support for the Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination, drew a diverse audience including French nationals, members of the Pakistani diaspora, Kashmiris, academicians, media representatives, and dignitaries.
Messages from Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister echoed through the seminar, underscoring Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the cause of Kashmir and condemning India’s illegal actions in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Prominent speakers paid tribute to the indomitable spirit and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people in their quest for freedom from Indian occupation and the realization of their right to self-determination. Drawing parallels between the Kashmir and Palestine disputes, speakers highlighted the shared narratives of human tragedy and the denial of self-determination by occupying powers, emphasizing the need for global attention and action.
