CM Punjab says Pak-China ties will usher new era of cooperation
Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has congratulated the Chinese Consul General Lahore Mr. Zhao Shiren on the completion of 72 years of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations,
Syed Mohsin Naqvi reported on Sunday visited the Chinese Consul General and held a cake-cut ceremony to celebrate the event with Zhao Shiren.
He was accompanied by the Provincial Industries Minister SM Tanveer, famous philanthropist Gohar Ejaz, and Mian Ahsan.
The Chinese Consul General thanked Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and expressed his best wishes for him. They also held a discussion regarding the promotion of trade and economic relations between both countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan is getting benefits from China’s cooperation in the fields of agriculture, health care, technology, and education. “The new era of Pakistan-China relations will open new avenues of cooperation between the two countries in all spheres of life,” Mohsin Naqvi maintained.
Mohsin said Pakistan and China are standing side by side for a brighter tomorrow.
“China’s unwavering support in times of need is a testimony of Pak-China friendship,” the CM hinted.
He said China has proved to be our all-weather friend, strong partner, and reliable neighbor.

Chinese Consul General assured the guests that they will continue all kinds of cooperation with the Punjab government.
