Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) Justice Qazi Faiz Isa did not attend the dinner hosted by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial here on Monday. The Chief Justice of Pakistan, following the tradition, hosted the dinner in honor of the judges of the Supreme Court.
According to sources, it may be noted that it is a tradition that after every Eid, the Chief Justice hosts a dinner in honor of fellow judges. Fifteen of the 14 judges participated in the dinner with Justice Faiz Isa the notable absentee.
As per details it is also learnt Justice Isa did not convey the reason for not attending the dinner to the chief justice. The purpose of the dinner was to end the differences and develop harmony among the judges of the Supreme Court, the sources added.
