Karachi: (Staff Reporter) The fire in the launches near Fishery Kala Pani was brought under control, five fire tenders and a water bowser took part in the rescue operation.
According to the source, a fire broke out in the launches parked near Fishery Kala Pani resulting in completely burnt two launches and partial damage to three nearby launches but the fire was brought under control after successful rescue operations, according to Karachi Port Trust (KPT) officials.
As per details the fire broke out in four launches anchored at Berth No. 7 of Kala Pani, five fire brigade vehicles from different centers participated in the firefighting process while two fire tenders of KPT were also involved in the rescue operation, fire brigade officials told.
