NEPRA reduced power tariff by Rs.2.15 per unit for K-Electric consumers

Islamabad: (Web Desk) The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) reduced power tariff by Rs2.15 per unit for K-Electric (KE) consumers on account of fuel cost adjustments (FCAs) for the month of October.

According to the sources, a public hearing was conducted by the power regulator to consider the proposed reduction wherein the regulator stated that it will issue detailed decision after further scrutiny of the data, the reduction will not apply to lifeline consumers.
