Justice Aamer Farooq took oath as new CJ IHC by President Arif Alvi
Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) Justice Aamer Farooq took oath as the new Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court (CJ IHC). President Dr. Arif Alvi administered the oath of office from Justice Aamer Farooq in the swearing-in ceremony held at the President’s House today.
Furthermore Justice Aamer Farooq took oath as the sixth Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court. After the swearing-in ceremony, a guard of honor was also presented in honor of the new CJ IHC.
Meanwhile it should be noted that, the Judicial Commission had approved the appointment of Justice Aamer Farooq, the most senior judge of the IHC, as the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court.
