Imran asks CJP, COAS to deliver justice in Azam Swati torture case,

Lahore_On its 2nd day, the PTI march led by its Chairman Imran Khan has reached Shahdara and is heading towards Kamonke, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

When Imran reached Shahdara, the PTI workers showered him with rose petals.

Standing on his container, Imran addressed the marchers at Shahdara.

Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Azam Khan Swati, Mian Mehmoodur Rashid and others were standing with him on the container.

During his address, Imran called upon Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action on the torture claim made by Senator Azam Swati urging them to do justice.

He said, “Imagine how pitiful that stage must be when one thinks of committing suicide if he is not Muslim. How much humiliation he must have felt. Our constitution safeguards human dignity. I request Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action on the appeal made by Azam Swati and tell the nation that we are a human society where justice is dispensed. But no justice is dispensed in animals’ kingdom. It is our right to get justice,” Imran roared.

The PTI chief went on to say, “General Bajwa, I request you again to investigate those two officers who tortured Azam Swati. These officers should be transferred,” Khan demanded.
