Islamabad: (Web Desk) A 40-feet wide breach occurred in Dad Canal near Rafiqabad in Layyah, inundating standing crops on several acres.
As per details the water also inundated nearby settlements and damaged mud houses posing threat to the locals.
According to Irrigation Department, the water supply was suspended from the head works on the report of the breach and an operation was being carried out to plug the breach.
