Shaan Shahid, Sadia Khan Join Mikaal in Pashmeena

ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Pakistani cinema is gearing up for a fresh on-screen collaboration as veteran actor Shaan Shahid, Sadia Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar have been announced as cast members of the upcoming film Pashmeena, produced by Shazad Rafique.

The casting announcement was shared across entertainment media platforms, featuring photographs of all three actors. However, details about the film’s plot, director and expected release date have not yet been officially disclosed.

Shaan Shahid, whose real name is Armaghan Shahid, made his acting debut with the 1990 film Bulandi. He subsequently became one of the most recognisable names in Pakistani cinema, building a career that spans acting, screenwriting and directing.

His notable film projects include Khuda Kay Liye, Waar and Zarrar, which have contributed to his longstanding presence in the country’s film industry.

Sadia Khan first gained widespread recognition through television, particularly for her portrayal of Emaan in the popular drama serial Khuda Aur Mohabbat. She later ventured into films, appearing in Abdullah: The Final Witness and Huey Tum Ajnabi, a historical drama in which she shared the screen with Mikaal Zulfiqar.

Mikaal Zulfiqar began his professional journey as a model before transitioning to acting. He gradually established himself as a familiar face on Pakistani television through acclaimed dramas such as Diyar-e-Dil, Shehr-e-Zaat and Sang-e-Mar Mar.

He subsequently expanded his career into cinema, with film credits including Cake, Sherdil and Huey Tum Ajnabi.

The inclusion of these three established performers has drawn attention to Pashmeena, although audiences will have to wait for further announcements to learn more about its storyline and production plans.
