Petrol Price Rises Rs1.82, Diesel Gets 91-Paisa Cut
Petrol Price Goes Up, Diesel Rate Reduced From October 8
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products, raising the price of petrol while slightly reducing the rate of high-speed diesel.
According to a Petroleum Division statement issued on October 7, the price of motor spirit has been increased by Rs1.82 per litre, taking it from Rs394.83 to Rs396.65 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by 91 paisas per litre, falling from Rs395.85 to Rs394.94 per litre.

The new prices will remain effective from October 8.
The Petroleum Division attributed the latest adjustment to changes in international market conditions, including fluctuations in Platts rates, premiums and other related costs.
