Ittehad Long March Announced Towards Islamabad Over Farmers Demands

Kissan Ittehad – (Staff Repoter/Web Desk) – Kissan Ittehad chairman Khalid Hussain Bath has announced a Kissan Ittehad long march towards Islamabad. He said farmers from every province will join the protest to push the government into accepting their demands.

Bath said the march aims to highlight the hardships faced by farmers and landowners across Pakistan. He called it part of a bigger national movement for the rights of farmers.

He added that the organization will keep up its struggle until the government solves problems in the farming sector.

According to Bath, farmers across the country are going through tough economic times. He blamed the government’s farm policies for making things worse for them.

Bath also raised concerns about the agricultural policies of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He went a step further and demanded her resignation.

He said farmers play a key role in meeting the nation’s food needs. He stressed that quick steps are needed to bring the agriculture sector back on track.

The Kissan Ittehad chief claimed that farming has suffered greatly under government policies over the past three years. He said rising prices have added more pressure on common people too.

Bath believes a strong farming community is vital for the economic health of both Balochistan and Pakistan.

He also criticized how the bureaucracy has handled farmers’ problems. He urged Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti to declare an agricultural emergency in the province.

Bath asked the provincial government to give more attention to agriculture. He suggested shifting funds from other development projects to support the farming sector.

He also spoke about the security situation in parts of Balochistan. He claimed unrest in some areas has made it hard for local officials to even reach their offices.

Kissan Ittehad has confirmed that farmers from all four provinces will take part in this protest. The long march will start from Quetta and move towards Islamabad.
