NADRA Vaccination Certificate Made Mandatory for International Travellers
To facilitate passengers, the federal government’s civil dispensary has been designated as the sole vaccination centre.
ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) – The Airport Health Department has made a NADRA-issued vaccination certificate mandatory for all passengers travelling abroad from September 14.
According to officials, passengers will not be permitted to board international flights unless they present a vaccination certificate issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
The new requirement will apply to all international travellers, including Umrah pilgrims, who must obtain the required vaccination certificate before departure.
The Airport Health Department has directed airlines to strictly verify the vaccination certificates of passengers travelling abroad. Umrah pilgrims will also undergo the same verification process.
To facilitate passengers, the federal government’s civil dispensary has been designated as the sole vaccination centre. Those seeking vaccination at the airport have been advised to arrive at least six hours before their scheduled flight.
Vaccination services will be provided in the international departure area, where passengers will also be able to complete the online registration process. Authorities said the arrangements are aimed at streamlining the procedure and reducing inconvenience for international travellers.
The new policy will come into effect on September 14 and will cover all passengers travelling internationally, including those departing for Umrah.
