25 Lady Medical Officers Dismissed From Service in Balochistan
QUETTA: (Staff Reporter) – The Balochistan Health Department has dismissed 25 lady medical officers from service for allegedly remaining absent from their assigned duties without justification, according to a notification issued by the provincial health authorities.
The notification, issued by Balochistan Health Secretary Mujeebur, said disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the medical officers under the Balochistan Employees’ Efficiency and Discipline Act (BEDA), 2011.
According to the department, the dismissed doctors were posted at Civil Hospital, Bolan Medical Complex and health facilities in different districts across the province.
The notification named Dr Sadia, Dr Robia Iqbal Khattak, Dr Afiya Haq, Dr Rawatul Arfa, Dr Palwasha Ali, Dr Malghalara, Dr Fauzia Hasni, Dr Beenish Mahjabeen, Dr Kanta Devi, Dr Fakhra Jaffar, Dr Tayyaba Iftikhar, Dr Nadira Satkzai, Dr Safia, Dr Sadia Khan Nasir, Dr Ayesha, Dr Ayesha Ibad, Dr Iqra Ijaz, Dr Madinah Riaz, Dr Gira Naz Baloch, Dr Faria Tarin, Dr Shamaun Nisa, Dr Arifa Siddique, Dr Maryam Ahmad and Dr Sabiha among those removed from service.
The health department said the action was taken under the relevant disciplinary law after the doctors were found to have remained absent from their duties.
