ISPR: 49 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan, KP Operations
Security forces crush India-backed militant networks in major joint operations
Balochistan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – ISPR 49 terrorists killed in a series of high-tempo, intelligence-driven operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the military’s media wing confirmed on Friday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said security forces carried out multiple raids against India-backed militant networks over the past few days.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12 militants linked to Fitna al-Khawarij were killed during operations in Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai, and Khyber districts.
Troops recovered a large stash of explosives, IED remotes, weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles during these raids, ISPR added.
In Balochistan, security forces neutralised 37 militants tied to India-sponsored Fitna al-Hindustan. These operations took place in Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar, and Panjgur.
Officials said weapons, explosive drums, and remote detonation gear were also seized and destroyed during the campaign.
ISPR described the raids as part of an ongoing, broader counterterrorism effort against cross-border militant threats.
This latest action follows earlier operations this week in Ziarat, Harnai, and Surab under Operation Rad-ul-Fitna-3, which killed at least nine militants.

Security sources said ammunition, grenades, walkie-talkies, and a motorcycle were recovered from those killed.
Pakistan has faced rising militant violence in KP and Balochistan since the Afghan Taliban’s return to power in 2021.
A recent CRSS report found both provinces made up nearly 96 percent of all violence-related deaths in the second quarter of 2026.
KP alone recorded 475 deaths, while Balochistan reported 265, making these regions the country’s most dangerous conflict zones.
The report also noted KP logged 151 violent incidents, the highest nationwide, followed by Balochistan with 94 cases.
Security officials say operations will continue until militant networks in both provinces are fully dismantled.
