Dubai Clarifies Tourism Initiative Offers Discounts, Not Cash Payments to Visitors
Islamabad: (News Desk) -Claims circulating about the UAE providing cash grants to visitors through relatives living in the country are misleading. The confusion stems from Dubai’s official “Invite from Dubai” tourism campaign, which offers travel perks and discounts rather than direct financial assistance.
Launched by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, the initiative provides benefits worth more than AED 3,000 for eligible visitors. The package includes hotel discounts of up to 45%, special offers at restaurants and entertainment venues, a complimentary Careem Plus membership, and discounted Hala Taxi rides.
The promotion is available for visitors arriving between July 20 and October 31. UAE residents aged 18 or older with a valid Emirates ID can invite family members or friends through the official Visit Dubai platform. Once the visitor arrives and their details are verified, the rewards are emailed within 72 hours for use during their stay.
