Sri Lanka Women Chase Down 274 to Level ODI Series 1-1
Hambantota: (Sports Desk) – Sri Lanka Women defeated Pakistan Women by eight wickets with 19 balls to spare in the second One-Day International on Saturday, leveling the three-match series at 1-1.
Chasing a target of 274, Sri Lanka produced a commanding batting display led by Vishmi Gunaratne, who remained unbeaten on 123 and was named Player of the Match. Harshitha Samarawickrama also starred with a brilliant 100, as the hosts comfortably reached the target.
Earlier, Pakistan posted 273/5, thanks to a superb unbeaten century from Sidra Amin. She anchored the innings with valuable support from Ayesha Zafar (49) and Muneeba Ali (45).
Pakistan to Tour England for Five-Match ODI Series Ahead of 2027 World Cup
Pakistan had won the opening ODI by five wickets at the same venue, and the series will now be decided in the third and final match.
